TMT is a non-profit organisation that provides national fisheries authorities and international organisations with expert fisheries intelligence analysis, in support of enforcement actions and broader improvements in fisheries governance. TMT is a registered non-profit (Stiftelsen) in Norway (Org. number 913 096 479) using its full name Trygg Mat Tracking.

TMT takes data protection very seriously and is committed to protecting your privacy and security. This policy sets out what data we collect, how we use your personal data, and explains how you can request us to delete or update your personal data.

TMT collects contact details that are voluntarily provided through a subscription function, data download function and contact forms on our websites (www.tm-tracking.org and www.iuu-vessels.org).

TMT takes great care to safeguard your contact details and will never exchange or sell them to another organisation. Our sole usage of personal information submitted through our websites is as follows:

  • Newsletter subscribers will be contacted with occasional email updates regarding the work of TMT

  • Personal information provided through our contact forms will be used to respond to your query. You will not be automatically added to our newsletter mailing list, unless you select that option.

  • Users of the Combined IUU List download function will only be contacted if we need to issue a correction to data that you have downloaded from the site. You will not be automatically added to our newsletter mailing list, unless you select that option.

If you would like to update any of your details or check what details we have on our database, please email info@tm-tracking.org . You can opt-out of our communications or request that your personal details be deleted at any time – to do so please email info@tm-tracking.org. Your data will be retained and used for the purposes outlined in this privacy statement until such time as the purpose is no longer relevant (eg. query through the contact form has been resolved), or you opt out or request it to be deleted.
