Three vessels have been added to the Combined IUU List. The vessels were IUU-listed by CCAMLR at the 35th Annual Meeting, held in Hobart, Australia, in October 2016.
The fishing vessels NORTHERN WARRIOR (IMO 8808903) and ANTONY (IMO 8808903) were IUU-listed for providing support to IUU listed vessels. Both are currently under detention in Spain.
ANDREY DOLGOV (IMO 8514772) was IUU listed for attempting to offload illegally caught toothfish in China. This vessel was previously operating as a tuna longliner but sources indicate that it may have been reconfigured to operate as a fish carrier after deregistration by South Korea in 2015. All three vessels are either stateless or of unknown flag.
